Demo Session Disclaimer
By taking part in a SailPower demo sailing session, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
Sailing is an activity that carries inherent risks, including capsize, collision, injury, and exposure to changing weather and water conditions.
Foiling dinghies can reach higher speeds than conventional sailing boats and involve additional risks, including contact with foils, rigging, or other equipment.
You are responsible for ensuring that you are physically fit and able to participate. If you have any medical conditions that may affect your safety, you should seek appropriate medical advice before taking part.
Participants must be confident swimmers and comfortable in open-water conditions while wearing a buoyancy aid.
You agree to follow all instructions given by the session organiser, coach, or safety boat crew. Failure to do so may increase risk to yourself and others.
You must wear an appropriate buoyancy aid or personal flotation device at all times while on the water.
Participants must not take part under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
The organiser reserves the right to refuse or end participation if a participant is deemed unsafe, unfit, or unable to follow instructions.
Sessions may be modified, postponed, or cancelled at any time due to weather, water conditions, or other safety considerations.
You accept responsibility for your own actions and use of equipment during the session, except where negligence by the organiser is proven.
Participants may be held responsible for damage caused through negligent or reckless use of equipment.
Participants under 18 must have consent from a parent or guardian.
By joining the session, you accept that photos or video may be taken for training or promotional purposes unless you notify the organiser otherwise.
Personal belongings are brought to the venue entirely at the participant’s own risk.
Participation is entirely at your own risk. The organiser accepts no liability for loss, damage, or injury except where required by applicable law.
Participants should wear suitable clothing for the conditions, including wetsuits where appropriate.
